Project description:
CFC Architects BNA from the city of Vianen has designed a new distribution centre for retailer C1000 in Raalte. B&G Entrance Control is asked to provide the site security of this large distribution centre. In consultation with CFC, B&G has chosen for special fence slats. This fence ensures a robust, vandalism-proof security of the busy distribution centre, but also needs to meet increased requirements of the building inspectorate. The result is an aesthetically beautiful fence which appearance fits with the environment and the building.

The fence and the gates are delta galvanized and duplex coated. The choice for delta galvanization stems from its smooth and aesthetic finish, which makes that the fence slats appear beautifully. The duplex coating finish is in RAL 7030 grey. Fences and gates have a 2000 mm height above ground level. Due to differences in site height the height of the installed fences ranges from 1200 to 2000 mm. The top of the fencing and gates is of equal height. The size of the fence's slats is 100 x 20 mm.

In order to achieve an excellent design for the site's outdoor security, the architect (Mr. D. Verhaar) and B&G have worked closely together from the very start. They paid great attention to technical details and the construction of the slats, posts and gates. From the design phase until completion both parties cooperated very well. This has lead to a great result: a beautiful project, excellently and effectively secured and a very satisfied customer (C1000).

The security solution:
The site security includes, amongst others: 290 meters fence slats, 2 sliding gates on rails, also in slats version (sized 18 x 2 meter and 6 x 2 meter), 1 swing gate, turnstiles and barriers.
